NASA gives update to Artemis III mission
All eyes are on a summer 2027 launch of the Artemis III mission. NASA has provided an update on the Artemis III mission, which is expected to launch with SpaceX’s Starship and Blue Origin’s Blue Moon lunar lander in summer 2027. The mission will be completed with a year-end tanking test and a summer 20 27 launch. The Artemis III crew will dock their Orion space capsule with SpaceX's Starship and/or Blue Origin's Blue Moon's Bluemoon lunar landers. The tests and objectives will benefit future missions that will see humans return to the moon's surface. However, NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman stated in February that the Artemis program is not where it needs to be and more work needs to do before landing on the moon.
