NOT A BAD IDEA TO START THINKING ABOUT IT. WE’VE ALREADY SIGNED UP HOURS FOR A COUPLE OF CAMPS THIS SUMMER, BUT AS SOON AS YOU GET THAT EMAIL THAT THE SIGN UPS ARE OPEN, I MEAN, IT’S WHICH THOSE CAME OUT? WHAT ABOUT FEBRUARY? DEPENDS ON THE CAMP. BUT YEAH, IT’S LIKE THE GROUP MOM TEXTS LIKE SIGN UP FOR OPEN GO. AND I WAS LIKE, OKAY. SO THAT’S GREAT. DON’T WANT THOSE KIDS RESTLESS WITH NOTHING TO DO IN THE SUMMERTIME. YES. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? THE KIDS ARE GOING HAVE A LOT OF INDOOR, I THINK, OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS TO. UNFORTUNATELY. RIGHT. YEAH. WE’RE HEADED RIGHT TO SPORTS SEASON. I KNOW WE’VE GOT TOURNAMENTS THIS WEEKEND. THINGS LIKE THAT. BUT THE FIELD CONDITIONS ARE NOT GOING TO BE GREAT AS WE HEAD TOWARD FRIDAY AND SATURDAY BECAUSE WE HAVE SOME LIGHT SPRINKLES ON THE RADAR RIGHT NOW. WE ARE SEEING ALL OF THAT AMPED UP TO SOME INTENSE DOWNPOURS AND CONSISTENT RAIN AS WE GET INTO FRIDAY. SO HERE’S THE LAST HOUR. YOU CAN SEE THESE LIGHT SHOWERS SLOWLY TRAILING FROM OUR SOUTHERN COMMUNITIES OFF TO THE NORTH AND EAST. AND RIGHT NOW, THE RAIN A LITTLE BIT MORE WIDESPREAD UP TOWARD COLUMBUS. BUT WE’RE SEEING SOME LIGHT SHOWERS HERE IN CLINTON COUNTY FROM JUST OUTSIDE OF WILMINGTON IN THROUGH NEW VIENNA AND INTO HIGHLAND COUNTY FROM HILLSBORO TO MARSHALL. ALL OF THAT KIND OF DRIFTING UP IN THE DIRECTION OF WASHINGTON COURTHOUSE AND A COUPLE MORE SHOWERS TRYING TO MAKE THEIR WAY INTO SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE AREA IN THROUGH, OH, IN COUNTY AT THE MOMENT, AND OCCASIONAL SHOWER. THAT’S ABOUT IT FOR US TODAY. BUT AS I SAID BEFORE, THINGS ARE GOING TO AMP UP EACH DAY. RIGHT. SO AN OCCASIONAL SPRINKLE TODAY. BETTER CHANCES FOR RAIN TOMORROW. AND BY THE TIME WE GET TO FRIDAY, IT’S BASICALLY AN ALL DAY WASHOUT. SO TODAY, CLOUDY SKIES AND OCCASIONAL SHOWER JUST ONE OF THOSE DAYS WHERE IT LOOKS LIKE IT’S GOING TO RAIN AT ANY POINT, BUT YOU’RE GOING TO SEE A FEW SHOWERS HERE AND THERE. NO BIG DEAL TODAY. TOMORROW IS THE WEATHER IMPACT DAY. I THINK WE SEE SOME SPOTTY RAIN HERE AND THERE IN THE MORNING AND THE BETTER CHANCE FOR RAIN AND MAYBE EVEN A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER IN THERE BY THE EVENING ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY IS KIND OF THE MAIN EVENT FOR US. WE GET INTO FRIDAY. STEADY RAIN, HEAVY AT TIMES. AND BY THE TIME WE GO TO FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY, WE’LL HAVE MUCH OF GREATER CINCINNATI PUSHING 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN. I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF THERE ARE SOME COMMUNITIES PERHAPS SOUTH OF CINCINNATI THAT LOOKS LIKE WHERE MAYBE THE HEAVIER BANDS ARE SETTING UP. YOU COULD SEE THREE TO MAYBE FOUR INCHES OF TOTAL RAINFALL FROM THIS WHOLE SYSTEM. SO LET’S WATCH THIS THING MOVE IN RIGHT THIS MORNING. YOU’LL NOTICE THE RAIN MOVING FROM SOUTH TO NORTH. THIS IS THE WARMER AIR MOVING IN GRAY SKIES AND AN OCCASIONAL SHOWER IS PART OF THE FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY. NOT A HUGE ISSUE. MORE OF AN ANNOYANCE THAN ANYTHING, RIGHT? MAYBE A COUPLE MORE SHOWERS INTO THE EVENING. WE HEAD INTO YOUR THURSDAY AND WE START THE DAY WITH OCCASIONAL RAIN. AGAIN, NOT A BIG DEAL. MAYBE A HEAVIER BATCH BEFORE WE GET TO THE ONE SHOWER AND THEN FOR THURSDAY AFTERNOON, SOME DRY TIME. THAT’S WHEN WE HIT THE SEVENTIES. SO IF YOU’RE A PERSON WHO JUST LOOKS AT THE HIGH TEMPERATURES ON THE FORECAST CASUALLY GO RED 71, WELL, WE’LL HAVE SOME RAIN SHOWERS OFF AND ON THROUGH THE DAY. AND THEN BY THURSDAY EVENING, A COLD FRONT IS GOING TO SETTLE IN AND PARK ITSELF OVER GREATER CINCINNATI. THIS WILL BE THE FOCUS FOR THE STREAMS OF RAIN THAT COME IN THROUGHOUT THE DAY ON FRIDAY. HEAVY AT TIMES AND THEY DON’T EVEN MOVE OUT UNTIL MAYBE EVEN LUNCHTIME ON SATURDAY. SO A SUPER SOAKER ON THE WAY. YOU CAN SEE AS FAR AS THE EXCESSIVE RAINFALL THREAT GOES, ALL OF GREATER CINCINNATI HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR MAYBE SEEING SOME AREAS OF HIGHER WATER AS WE GO INTO THE WEEKEND. IT’S 44 RIGHT NOW. WE’LL MAKE IT UP INTO THE MID FIFTIES THIS AFTERNOON. I HAVE AN UMBRELLA HANDY TODAY, BUT REALLY TODAY IS THE DRIEST DAY OF THE NEXT THREE. FRIDAY IS THE DAY WHERE WE PICK UP, BUT POTENTIALLY 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL ON AVERAGE. RAIN SHOWERS MOVE OUT SATURDAY MORNING AND THEN TEMPERATURES FALL SATURDAY
